Europe’s Concrete Ears
Being an audio enthusiast, I thought I would share this fun little piece of history. Pre-World War II these guys started popping up across Europe to notify the military of incoming aircrafts. Unfortunantly the aircrafts became faster and eventually radar was created, completely making these giant acoustical mirrors obsolete.
